Event remarks Occasional at locality of collection. First record for Qld; otherwise known from Western Australia, New Guinea, Guam and the Moluccas; this locality is unique for a number of plant and lichen records. C. major is somewhat similar to C. bonduc, but is a much larger, more aggressive and even pricklier plant.
