Occurrence remarks Low shrub. Sepals 4, free. Petals 4 connate in pairs. Stamens 2, sessile anthers attaches to base of pairs of petals which encloses each stamen. No disc. Ovary superior, urceolate with very short style and minutely bifid stigma. Stigmatic surface red and decurrent down style; 2-celled with two ascending ovules in each cell. Donated to Herbarium Australiense (CANB) by the collector, Clifford Halliday Gittins, in November, 1977.
