Organism remarks Characteristic features: (i) young buttons greyish with white surface bloom (easily rubbed off) and inrolled white pileus margin; (ii) lamellae pale cream (not yellow), crowded, adnate, edge smooth (very minutely fringed as seen under lens); (iii) stipe cylindric, smooth to longitudinally finely silky fibrillose, not pruinose; often shorter than the pileus width; (iv) flesh white, not changing; (v) odour spermatic in some specimens. Spore print: cream (with pale yellow tinge).
Occurrence remarks In small crowded groups on mowed grass at edge of footy oval.
