Field notes	Succulent shrub to 40 cm high. Stems pale yellowish and enlarged where leaves are, or were, present. Leaves deeply V-shaped, green to greenish yellow inside the V, pale yellow-brown with darker brown blotches on outer surface; on an obvious yellow petiole. No evidence of inflorescences seen although many seedling plants are growing in the area.

Hosking 2344) (in most cases Bryophyllum species are growing in clumps of one species or the hybrid rather than in mixed stands)).
