Occurrence remarks Calyx and corolla a blend of pale green, yellow to orange and rufous, most parts of plant densely velvety with short hairs. Uncommon but widespread in wet sclerophyll forest comprised of Eucalyptus resinifera and Syncarpia glomulifera subsp.glomulifera with a sub-canopy of Acacia melanoxylon and a lower layer of invaded rainforest species inclusive of Mischocarpus lachnocarpus, Schizomeria ovata, Neolitsea dealbata, Croton acronychioides, Guioa acutifolia, Euroschinus falcatus var. falcatus, Rhodomyrtus trineura subsp. trineura, Polyscias australiana and Archirhodomyrtus beckleri with Alpinia caerulea, Rubus moluccanus var. moluccanus, Panicum mitchellii and Lepidosperma laterale as the sparse ground cover on a reddish substrate, probably andesitic.
