Supplied as "Narrow flood plain of a small creek. Soil: Red-brown loamy fine sand with some gravel and pebbles. Other parts quite pebbly. Corymbia hamersleyana and Eucalyptus xerothermica scattered low trees over Acacia aneura var. longicarpa and Acacia pruinocarpa scattered tall shrubs over Acacia bivenosa open shrubland over Triodia pungens scattered hummock grass. Corymbia hamersleyana 5-9 m < 1%; Eucalyptus xerothermica (1) 5 (7) m 1-2%; Acacia aneura var. longicarpa < 1%; Acacia pruinocarpa < 1%; Acacia bivenosa 1.5-2 m 1-5% (10%); Triodia pungens 0.6-1 m 1% (10). At the edges below the spur ends (low cliffs or rocky) were small slopes with Acacia/Cassia shrublands over Triodia pungens hummock grassland. Very variable in composition of annuals and perennials, reflecting changes in soil and slope. Some patches of Acacia maitlandii open shrubland and of Indigofera georgei low open shrubland. The Indigofera gilesii ssp. gilesii was on the steeper banks. Associated annuals: Sporobolus australasicus, Andrachne decaisnei, Trichodesma zeylanicum, Tragus australianus, Malvastrum americanum, Cleome viscosa, Melhania oblongifolia, Enneapogon caerulescens var. occidentalis, Dysphania rhadinostachya, Pterocaulon sphacelatum, Ptilotus exaltatus, Paspalidium clementii, Euphorbia australis (mid-green form), Flaveria australasica, Ptilotus aervoides, Abutilon otocarpum, Setaria verticillata, Brunonia australis, Bidens bipinnata, Ptilotus aervoides, Triraphis mollis, Enneapogon polyphyllus, Euphorbia coghlanii, Cassia notabilis, Cullen cinereum, Portulaca oleracea, Salsola kali, Dysphania kalpari, Eriachne pulchella ssp. dominii, Aristida contorta, Ptilotus helipteroides var. helipteroides, Hibiscus sturtii var. aff. grandiflorus, Enneapogon oblongus, Euphorbia tannensis ssp. eremophila. Associated perennials: Evolvulus alsinoides var. villosicalyx, Indigofera monophylla (small leaflet form), Indigofera gilesii ssp. gilesii, Goodenia microptera, Sida fibulifera, Themeda triandra, Solanum horridum, Enchylaena tomentosa, Corchorus lasiocarpus var. lasiocarpus (MS), Acacia dictyophleba, Paraneurachne muelleri, Eremophila longifolia, Cassia oligophylla x, Olearia stuartii, Abutilon fraseri, Ptilotus obovatus, Indigofera georgei, Acacia morrisonii, Cassia luerssenii, Maireana villosa, Cymbopogon ambiguus, Eucalyptus trivalvis, Solanum lasiophyllum, Cassia artemisioides, Maireana planifolia, Petalostylis labicheoides, Rulingia kempeana, Hibiscus aff. coatesii (site 751). Associated lianes: Porana commixta, Rhynchosia cf. minima, Glycine canescens, Jasminum didymum ssp. lineare, Mukia aff. maderaspatana (3) (green, scabrid)." |
