Occurrence remarks Low growing shrub to 80 cm. Leaves discolorous with a lanceolate to ovate outline and covered in stellate hairs. Inflorescence with glandular hairs on the peduncle. Flowers white to somewhat pink. Fruits red, globbose and covered with stiff pointed protrubences. Glandular and stellate hairs numerous over the surface of the fruit.

Supplied as "Open woodland on rocky bouldering sandstone slope. Canopy dominated by Eucalyptus punctata Angophora bakeri. Understorey sparse and open, characterised by Allocasuarina sp., Commersonia dasyphylla, Dampiera purpurea, and Acacia binervia. Groundlayer sparse, dominated by Lomandra longifolia, Hardenbergia violacea, Kennedia rubicunda, and grasses. Area recovering from recent fire."
