Locality Site number: 228. 4.3 km south-east of Balbina Bore, Hamersley Station.
Habitat
Supplied as "Ecotone plain, low ridge. Gentle slope to the north. Soil: Terracotta coloured clay/loam. Acacia aneura var. ?aneura/intermedia open scrub over Abutilon otocarpum annual low open shrubland over Iseilema aff. fragile, Setaria dielsii, Urochloa gilesii ssp. occidentalis annual tussock grassland. Acacia aneura var. ?aneura/intermedia 5-9 m 35-40%; Abutilon otocarpum ca. 40 cm < 10%; Iseilema aff. fragile; Setaria dielsii; Urochloa gilesii ssp. occidentalis. At the lower edge were many dead or near dead Chrysopogon fallax tussocks. Mounds 10-15 cm tall: over grazed, with significant soil loss. Acacia aneura var.?/Triodia wiseana, Commelina ensifolia and Goodenia stellata found nearby. The Iseilema aff. fragile was abundant."
