Supplied as "The fire of 24 October 2006 was fierce on this part of hill. It killed the crowns of the {Eucalyptus ambigua} that had tillered after the prior fire. The older {E. ambigua} (to 30 cms diameter) are severly damaged but make up about half of the cover. There are no understorey shrubs at the site but there are nearby {Allocasuarina verticillata} (many-stemmed from the prior fire and tillering again) and lower {Pultenaea daphnoides. The lower species are {Lepidosperma elatius} (local), {Hydrocotyle foveolata}, {Gonocarpus teucrioides}, {Pelargonium inodorum}, {Wahlenbergia gracilenta}, {Aira caryophyllea} (not prone), {Opercularia varia}, {Isolepsis} ? {marginata}." |
