Occurrence remarks Importance: Most import [important]. Peren. [perennial]. Pasture. 215. White Clover - The premier pasture legume of the temperate regions of the world, a long-lived perennial needing 9-12 months growing period. Tolerant of a wide range of soils and temperature conditions, providing moisture is adequate. Established from seed; shows spread by long surface runners which root at the nodes. Commonly used in association with perennial Rye-grass to give a permanent high-producing pasture. Several strains are available.
