Occurrence remarks Scattered dense stand. Fronds smaller than the typical "Papuan" type - ca 8 m long. Flowering and fruiting in profusions. Flowers yellow to yellow green spathe. Fruit up to 40 cm diameter inflorescence. Nature of sample: spathe, pollen & seed. Purpose: Phytolith identification. Person: D. Bowdery. Date: 6/7/2012. Inst./Country: ANU, Canberra.
