Occurrence remarks Occasional (4 seen - widely scattered) mostly erect shrub to 1.5 m high. Lower stems reddish and hairless, upper stems yellowish and shortly hairy. Leaves held erect and close to the stem, almost spirally arranged, dark green above (side facing stems) with few whitish minute spots towards the midvein, paler below with lots of minute white spots. Two inner sepals petal-like and wing-like, c. 7 mm long and c. 4 mm wide, purple-pink; petals pink but keel greenish-yellow.
