Occurrence remarks Locally common (100s of plants) rhizomatous herb with erect stems to 16 cm high. Stems with two longitudinal bands of scattered hairs, the bands on opposite sides of the stem. Leaves opposite, decussate, mid green, surfaces mostly concolorous and newest leaves longest. Flowers with 3 stamens that have yellow anthers, bracts and tepals white to pink, tepals hairy towards base on outer surface. Fruit obcordate. Silica gel material of this collection was sent to Gary Houlistan (CHR) and at NE. Digital images available from John Hosking.
