Occurrence remarks Rhizomatous herb to 5 cm high. Roots pale brown to white. Stems, gland-dotted leaves and calyx mid green. Petals 5, longitudinally asymmetric, yellow; flowers with 9 (many plants) or 15 (one plant) stamens on flowers checked, filaments and anthers butter yellow (petals slightly darker); styles 3, greenish-yellow.
