Occurrence remarks Like for a lot of plains communities in western suburbs of Melbourne the future is certainly grim, threatened by constant housing estates being built. At this site the creek may be used as a drain for the housing estate. Five hundred and thirty plants were counted.

Supplied as "Plains grassland in ephemeral creek/drainage-line, relatively flat with little relief. Species poor grassland dominated by Austrodanthonia spp, including Austrodanthonia caespitosa, A.duttoniana, A. racemosa. Other associated species: Austrostipa bigeniculata, A.curticoma, Haloragis aspera and the occasional Persicaria prostrata. The most abundant exotics include: *Cynodon dactylon, *Lolium rigidum and *Vulpia bromoides. Geology: Quaternary Newer Volcanics."
