Organism remarks | Herb to 120 cm high. Brown papery covering on corms, cormils present around base of some corms also tuberous rhizomatous and fibrous. Leaves mid green, to 67 cm long and to 3 cm wide. Flowers to 68 mm wide and 61 mm long. Larger tepals salmon pink with yellow mid vein and base. Smaller tepals bright yellow with salmon tip. Inside top of tube and larger tepals are stippled red. Stamens with filaments dull white, affixed to top of tube on larger upper tepals, anthers mostly white with bright dark blue/purple edging. Styles trifid, not exceeding anthers. |
