Occurrence remarks | Ascending herb with reddish green fleshy stems. Roots at nodes. Inflorescences sessile axillary heads. Occasional weed in moist red clay soil in former sweet potato (kau kau) patch adjacent to rice trail. LAE voucher sent as LAE 87686. Collected as part of the Northern Australia Quarantine Strategy. This specimen has been treated with ethanol and gamma iradiated @ 25 KGy for quarantine purposes. |
