Occurrence remarks Naturalised shrub to 6 m high. Spines uncommon to common on branches. Leaves to 5 cm long and 1.4 cm wide (on lower stems), green, paler below, glabrous, shallowly crenate-toothed with a small red-brown tip to each tooth. Pomes yellow, orange or red depending on shrub. Pomes mostly with 5 seeds. Same plants as C.H.Barker 4 & J.R.Hosking
