Occurrence remarks Spindly shrub to 1.2 - 2.5m tall. Stems smooth, greenish. Pods mature. Flowers small, yellow 'flowerballs'. Pods and flowers from separate plants.

Event remarks Low hill of metasediment forming brown-orange lithosols with abundant surface rock. Mid-high woodland of Eucalyptus crebra with Corymbia clarksoniana and Eucalyptus exserta, dense low tree layer of Erythroxylum australe, Terminalia aridicola, Alphitonia excelsa & Petalostigma pubescens, groundlayer of Aristida spp. and Triodia mitchellii.
