| Field notes | Gregarious, scattered, and caespitose agaric basidiomata to c. 30 mm. Pileus c. 7-15 mm in diameter, broadly convex to plane; translucent-striate; reddish-brown, darker at centre, with yellow hues towards margin. Lamellae adnate to slightly decurrent; liver red with deeper red margin; subdistant to close. Stipe reddish brown at apex, similar colour to pileus, paling to yellowing in the middle, +/- becoming reddish-brown at base; base covered in long white hairs or rhizomorphs; c. 1-1.5 m in diameter. |
