Previous identifications | Acacia julifera subsp. curvinervia (Maiden) Pedley, Reid Project, 2000-04 | Acacia capillosa Pedley, Pedley L., 2014-09-16, After describing this species, i changed my mind and referred it to A. leptostachya. It was treated as such in Flora of Australia. Youngish plants are hairy (as in this specimen) but eventually they grow out and become ± glabrous. They are then difficult to distinguish from A. leptostachya but have shorter, less elongate (lower l/b ratio) phyllodes more crowded on branchlets. |
