Occurrence remarks Inside the woodland it is a slender, sparingly branched shrub to 1 m high, and more sparsely flowering. Pedicels green becoming red when perianth falls, perianth pale green to cream with brownish hairs at apex of limb; gland white; stipe very pale green; ovary green; style whitish becoming pale pinkish mauve; stigma very slightly distally off centre. Pollen presenter pale purplish mauve; stigma very slightly off centre. After the perianth falls, the style reddens from the ovary up while the stipe and pollen presenter darkens slightly. Supplied as "Eucalyputs (Peppermint- Gum) woodland with Pteridium esculentum conspicuous in the undersotrey. Growing at the contact zone between granite and slate and onto the slate. Specimen collected from bushier shrubs near roadside."
