Occurrence remarks | This annual salt-bush seems quite different from any I have previously found. The fruiting calyx is tow lobed on a fleshy stalk and occasionally a few small appendages are present at the joint of stem and lobes but only on a very few. Seeds clustered in axils. In the fresh specimen the three lines marked are quite distinct being of thicker consistency than the remaining part - almost like a webbed bird's foot. [Co-Type A.M. Dec 1941] |
