Supplied as "On gently rising ground. Ten dead (mainly loing-dead, burnt to ground-level), one mature and four young {Xanthorrhoea australis}. A few shrubs burnt to stumps and one to a bole, by the fire of October 2006. Four {Banksia marginata} (to 60 cms) and {Sprengelia incarnata} seedlings. {Lepidosperma filiforme} (reduced from c. 15% to c. 5%), {Hypolaena fastigiata} (c. 25%), {Empodisma minus} (c. 5%), {Schoenus lepidosperma}, {Baumea acuta}, {Stylidium armeria}, {Thelymitra aristata}, several {Thelymitra} (short spurs) and {Selaginella uliginosa} (c. 40%). The nearest eucalypts - all {Eucalyptus ambigua} - are at 8-12 m south. One has two boles forming epicormic shoots. The others were many-stemmed (from prior fires) in October 2006 and are tillering again." |
