Occurrence remarks Locally common (>50 plants) herb to 90 cm high. Stems with scattered cobwebby hairs. Leaves with crisped and multicellular hairs. Leaf margins toothed, more so on lowest leaves. Lowest leaves often purplish below. Flowerheads non radiate with 8-13 involucral bracts. Florets all tubular, upper part of tube and lobes greenish yellow, outer florets with 3 or 4 lobes, inner florets with 5 lobes. Same as J. R. Hosking 1447 which was identified as Senecio diaschides D. G. Drury.
