Occurrence remarks Hilly environs with heavy red clay substrate. Low-lying areas tend to be swampy. Roadsides and unoccupied land tend to be weed-infested. Erect grass with pale inflorescence. Few plants growing in waste area behind police station. Collected on a survey for the NAQS.
