Occurrence remarks Erect, woody, open subshrub to 0.15 m tall and 0.3 m wide. All parts covered with short moderately dense layer of antroresly appressed hairs. Green leaves in whorls of 3, obovate, flattened terete, margins entire, and stems green becoming tough and on old thickened branches developing dark brown bark. Flowers axillary, bracteoles small and linear, calyx light green and 5-lobed. Flower buds white.
