Organism remarks Fruiting on Corymbia calophylla log. Perennial. Fruitbody: 60 mm wide, projecting 40 mm, 35 mm thick, laterally and broadly attached. Upper surface: dry with rubbery feel. Surface wrinkly with concentric ridges corresponding to perennial growth pattern. Beige, glabrous. Lower surface: tubes to 6 mm deep. Glabrous, smooth and even. Red-orange, orange, yellow-orange then creamy yellow-white. Pores creamy white, approximately 3 per mm with quite broad walls. Pores circular with consistent, regular size and occurence. Flesh: comprised of layers of tubes, zones obvious and distinctly coloured, red-orange, orange, yellow-orange then creamy yellow-white. Layers able to be "peeled" away revealing pore layer of previous season's growth. Odour: mushroom.
