Field notes | Erect herbs to 30 cm tall, single stem, 1 to 4 flowers per stem. One basal leaf, green; stem green-brown, small green bract about the middle. Flower segments mainly white inside, red-brown or green-fawn outside. Tip of labellum dark red, four rows of calli, yellow to dark red. Dark red glands on outside of all segments, and tips of hairs on stems, the quantity varying from flower to flower. Flowers have a strong musky scent. |

Occurrence remarks | Very numerous in this area, which is the earliest for many species in the Park - c. 100 plants in 30 m diameter. These specimens come from the same ground as ADJP322 Caladenia praecox on 3 September 1986. The intervening period has been cold and wet. |
