Locality Barrington Tops State Conservation Area. At edge of Barrington Trail, 110 m S of bridge over Tugalow Creek.
Habitat Landform: at edge of Trail, in areas cut off Trail for drainage and nearby woodland (7-20 degree slopes). Substrate: basalt. Soil: chocolate brown krasnozem. Vegetation: growing in bare areas on edge of Trail through Eucalyptus dalrympleana ssp dalrympleana/C. pauciflora woodland as well as with Crepis capillaris (Hosking 2883), Poa sieberiana s.lat., Microlaena stipoides var stipoides, Acetosella vulgaris, Stellaria pungens, Centipeda elatinoides (Hosking 2882) and Cirsium vulgare (Hosking 2880).
