Occurrence remarks | An abundant shrub on the ecotone of rainforest patches. Dense shrub to 2m high with light green opposite leaves with wavy margins, ovoid fruit ca 10mm long and 5mm diameter, borne on long stems at the base of lateral branchlets. |

Supplied as "Ecotonal area of semi-evergreen vine forest patch on sand adjoining mangroves to Namaleta Creek, merging with open grassy woodland dominated by Clarson's Bloodwood on low sandy terrace. This shrub dominates a dense shrub layer to 3m high in the area up to 50m outside vine forest, with patches of rainforest trees such as Sterculia quadrifida and Terminalia muelleri. Red sandy soil." |
