Field notes Herb with inflorescences to 70 cm high. Leaves green above, slightly more blue-green below. Lower midrib and margins of leaves toothed. Flowers closed at 9 am and start to open at 12:20. Tepals 6, pale blue; stamens 6, filaments basally white and twisted towards anthers, thickened upper part of filament butter yellow and anthers pale yellow; style pale blue above, white below, stigma white. Green fruit forming.
