Locality Cape Barren Island, Bass Strait. At 4 m due E of the cairn (Trig. Marker) of the NNE crest of Mt Munro.
Habitat On a broad ledge of shoal soil and small granite blocks under {Callistemon pallidus} (main cover, 60 %, to 1.8 m), {Tasmannia lanceolata} and {Leptospermum scoparium. Olearia phlogopappa} forms a partial understorey and there are two {Monotoca glauca} seedlings. The other herbs were {Poa labillardierei} (c. 5%), {Microtis} leaves (about 15) plus several leaves of {Thelymitra}.
