Occurrence remarks | Locally common (> 200 plants, including seedlings, about 20 bearing green fruit) naturalised tree to 6 m high. Trunks grey, smooth with horizontal bands and raised lenticels. Leaves mid green above, paler below, margins toothed. with red linear tip to each tooth, white hairs on lower surface; some petioles with a red gland towards the lamina. Sepals still present at this time and with gland-tipped margins. Pedicels to 5 cm long with cherry-like green fruit to 8 mm wide. |
