Field notes Vine to 20 m high on supporting vegetation. Stems green with lenticels, young stems with rusty hairs, older stems glabrous. Older leaves dark green, not shiny and glabrous above grading to bright green, shiny and with white appressed hairs when young. Leaf margins toothed. Lower leaf surface with appressed white hairs and rusty spreading hairs on veins. Fruit bluish-green and glaucous, globular to 8 mm wide.
