Locality Coastal sand sunes 50-100m west of west bank of Namaleta Creek, ca 12km upstream of mouth with Port Musgrave. Approximately 7km NE of Cullen Point, and 13km N of Mapoon, Western Cape York.
Habitat Bloodwood woodland to open forest on high sand dunes, dominated by a canopy of Clarkson's Bloodwood (Corymbia clarksoniana) to 18m with sub-canopy of Neofabricea myrtifolia and Thryptomene oligandra to 12m high. Open understorey dominated by Fimbristylis sp. and Lomandra banksia, with denser patches of Alyxia spicata and other species. Occurs on higher dunes east of the western coastline.
