Occurrence remarks | Locally frequent (>100 in flower and fruit) stoloniferous herb to 1.3 m high. Stems with appressed white hairs, much less near inflorescence. Leaves grey-green above, paler below, appressed crisped hairs below,. similar hairs above but only scattered. Involucral bracts 12 or 13. All florets tubular. Cypselas almost black with lines of short white papillose hairs. Digital images available from J.R.Hosking. |
