Locality | Marine plain on north bank of Ducie River, accessed from river in break in mangroves. Accessed via boat, travelling 18km upstream from Cullen Point at Mapoon. Located ca. 70km northeast of Weipa, Cape York. |

Supplied as "Extensive marine plain covering large areas and dissected and bounded by large areas of mangrove forest. Dominated by a few grasses and sedges, including a sedge with numerous small (ca. 10mm) bulbs that appear to hold soils together. Slightly lower patches occur where this sedge does not occur, with Xerochloa or Eleocharis spp common in these lower patches." |
