Event remarks Boletus 'eduloid'. Habit: gregarious, on sand. Pileus 25-50mm broad, plano-convex, dry, light cinnamon tan, then appressed sub-squamulose. Flesh white, unchanging; mild odour and taste. Tubes adnexed, yellow to greenish-yellow, unchanging. Stipe curved, clavate, dry, glabrous, white, with solid white interior, developing some pale pink tints when exposed.
