Field notes Spores: in Melzers: individually very pale greyish straw, wall pale yellow. En masse pale yellowish brown. Slightly thick walled with basal scar. Smooth, end view quite round, no angles. Ellipsoid, some irregular-humped or constricted. 14x7, 13.5x5.5, 15x 6.5, 11.5x7, 14x6, 12.5x6, 17x6.5, 14x7.5, 14.5x6, 12.5x7. 11.5-17/5.5-7.5 µm. Tramal hyphae narrow, cylindrical, no clamps. Basidia broad and short, subhymenium of subglobose/broad-short elements. (Elements immediately below - short chains of subglobose - short elements.) In several cases pairs of spores seen in vicinity of basidia but no good inflated basidia found.
