Occurrence remarks Caps: Buff with lavender tints, convex, dry, smooth. Stems: chunky and slightly striate off white with lavender tints at apex, cortinas no longer present in adults (seen in one juv.) Gills: lavender-clay buff, flesh white, multiple tiers lamellulae. Spore print, rusty-brown. Spores: thick walled ± finely warty, ellipsoid, 8.7x5.1µ, Q 1.69, (8.04)-8.24-9.140(9.2) x (4.85)-4.88-5.38-(5.61)µ, Qmin 1.62, Qmax 1.90.
