Field notes Leaves pendent, brownish-green the young ones dark brown. Inflorescences pendent in bud, the tube dark brown with some lemon-yellowing particularly towards base in bud, the torus and limb dark brown, as reaches anthesis turning pinkish red. Flowers with tepals the same outside, inside the filaments deepish pink, the tepal lobes upcurved, pinkish at base, light green to yellow green distally, including limb, the very tip of filament pale pink, anthers dark brown. Style mid pink; stigma punctate, deep pink.
