Occurrence remarks Shrub to 1.5 m high. Bark red brown with horizontal and vertical cracking. Leaves dark green above, paler below, no hairs to sparse white hairs above, scattered white hairs below. Bracts around flowers white and reddish brown, caducous. Calyx covered in white hairs. Flowers terminal, keel dark red, standard yellow with red streaks towards base
