Organism remarks | Cap: 18-36 mm diameter, Plane, circular, surface dry, creamy buff (OAC 795+) with cigar (16) to snuff (17) brown dense scales in central region becoming sparse , more or less concentric near margin, surface more or less finely tomentose. Margin thin, entire. Flesh: white, solid, with translucent/wet strip above gills. Gills: more or less free, one set lamellules, white with fleshy tint (whiter than 2B), edge more or less broad, smooth, faces smooth. Stem: 20-30 mm long, 2-4 mm wide, equal bit with slightly bulbous base, white. Cigar brown (16) appressed fibrils on lower one-half to two-thirds forming concentric zones, longitudinally fibrous. (finer ring on stem, but not persistent). Flesh: translucent, long fibrous, centre hollow or loosely packed, white. Odour: not obvious. |
