Organism remarks | Pileus 35-50mm, applanate (no really young ones observed) with depressed centre; margin thin peeling receding not translucent striate; glutinous, darkest in centre shades of rose pink and lilac 10B2 (reddish grey) and near 11C6 (greyish red). Stipe 30-50x8-12mm, cylindrical or tapering slightly to base or with minor basal swelling, solid or stuffed, dry, smooth and white except base or entirely dotted with pink near 11A4 (pastel pink) scabers. Lamellae adnexed, fragile, to 4mm deep, crowded, long lamellules present, edge smooth edge anf face cream. Flesh fragile, white. Gills only turning blue-green in GG, but not immediate. Watch out for mixed collection? sp. a) Solid stipe? sp. b) Stuffed stipe? Spore print: White Macrochemical Tests: 15% KOH Test: cuticle bright pale pink. sulfovanillin: instant violet. gumguaiac: no reaction, FeSO4: greyish pink Mode of Life: unknown Odour: not distinctive Taste: mild. |
