Locality Cape Barren Island, Bass Strait. About 785 m at 249 degrees from Big Hills' summit.
Habitat
Supplied as "In the bed, and onto the north-eastern bank, of an un-mapped seasonal south-eastern tributary of Ariel Creek. {Eucalyptus globulus} subsp. {globulus} and {Eucalyptus nitida} are dominant. {Allocasuarina verticillata} was the understorey when the area was burnt on 24 October 2006. These shrubs have tillered to a c. 10 percent cover. About 80 percent of the c. 15 degrees gravelly slope, derived from granite, is bare soil. {Lepidosperma elatius} (regrown to c. 15 percent), {Drosera peltata} subsp. {auriculata}, {Pteridium esculentum} and {Argentipallium dealbatum} form the sparse cover."
