Occurrence remarks Weak branched spindly shrub, reaching 50 cm tall, spreading 80 cm. Branches long, tangled and supported by surrounding vegetation. Branchlets reddish-brown, smooth. Single stem, Locally occasional occurence. Flowers yellow, peduncles to 10 mm long. Stamens 6-7 on one side of 2 ovaries. Ovaries hairy. Styles reddish brown in colour. Calyx lobes with hooked hairs. VOUCHER for image, DNA., Spirit collection.

Locality c. 0.4 km S along Martins Lookout Trail from end of Farm Road, Springwood.
Habitat
Supplied as "Plateau, gentle SE slope. Roadside with some disturbance. Low open woodland / dry sclerophyll forest dominated by Eucalyptus sparsifolia, Corymbia gummifera and scattered Syncarpia glomulifera. Mid layer dominated by Leptospermum trinervium, also with Persoonia levis, Bossiaea rhombifolia, Acacia linifolia, Phyllota phylicoides. Ground layer: Lepidosperma, Hovea linearis, Caustis flexuosa, Eragrostis curvula, Xanthosia tridentata etc. Fine sandy loam soil."
