Occurrence remarks Flinders Island National Park Campground (Bot site 3). Low shrub to c. 2m tall growing in 'hemispherical' clumps in exposed situations. Grey bark on older stems. Leaves leathery, pale green. Flowers in upper axils with white corolla. Fruit a reddish purple berry. Scattered bushes growing in saltmarsh zone between mangroves and grassy campsite. Most bushes showing signs of water stress. Silty sand substrate. Collected as part of the Northern Australian Quarantine Strategy. This specimen has been treated with ethanol for quarantine purposes.
