Occurrence remarks Herb to 1.24 m high. Stems green, densely white hairy. Leaves alternate to opposite, green, paler below, lamina to 33 cm long and to 15 cm wide on petiole to 12 cm long, short white hairs on dorsal and ventral surfaces, more dense on ventral surface. Three colour variants of flowers were seen: (1) pure white, (2) white with pale yellow wash and inconspicuous pale brown spots in throat and (3) pink with white throat with dark purple spots

(C.H.Barker 14 and J.R.Hosking), Ilex aquifolium L., Rubus anglocandicans A.Newton, Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora (Lemoine) N.E.Br., Hypericum androsaemum L. and Aquilegia vulgaris L. (C.H.Barker 15 and J.R.Hosking). On or near fallen Eucalyptus oreades R.T.Baker trees and stone. Dark brown sandy loam."
