Occurrence remarks Stem ascending, often more or less climbing, reddish. Note the +/- distant, not rosetted, leaves and the evidence of several years' growth. Stem not forming swollen, underground stocks. Flowers concolorous, pale bluish-violet; anterior petal pale at base.
